NUJ Training Wales is offering bursaries to cover 80% of the cost of the one-day (£99+VAT) or two day tickets (£175+VAT) if you are eligible.
Conference 2 day schedule with details of workshops, speakers, trainers and mentors.
Freelance NUJ members are eligible if:
- You work in print or online journalism, photography or comms
- You live or work in West Wales (including NW Wales) and the Valleys
This is to complement the 80% funding that Skillset Cymru makes available for freelances in the TV and film industry (see contact below)
The 80% funding will be made retroactively on confirmation of attendance and on completion of a short write-up of the benefits gleaned by members from the conference (like the Skillset freelance funding)
Attendees will be responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation. The bursaries do not include these costs.
