Trainer: Richard Nosworthy
Social media platforms and audiences are in flux.
From the changes at X and Facebook to the rise of social video, and the emergence of Bluesky and Mastodon, it can be hard to know which platform is the right fit for your organisation and where you should focus your energies.
What will I learn?
In this short course, you’ll learn how to make these decisions in an informed and strategic way. We’ll look at:
- Your organisational aims and the role of social media
- Assessing your current approach
- Target audiences and how they engage online
- How the features of different platforms compare
- Skills, resources and organising your team
- How social media compare to other forms of engagement
Who is it for?
The course is aimed at people working in communications, PR, marketing and social media roles who are responsible for deciding which social media platforms to choose and use on behalf of their organisation, or who are evaluating their current social media use. It is also suitable for individuals and small businesses who are making key decisions about their social media presence.
